外媒报道称，在Quic和HTTP/3带来的巨大优势面前，社交媒体巨头Facebook将致力于新协议的采用。Facebook工程团队在一篇博客文章指出，在该公司当前的互联网流量中，已有超过75%是基于新协议来处理的。不过在具体实施之前，该公司庞大的基础架构、移动App和客户端应用程序，仍需在顺利推进前落实一些必要的调整。

Foreign media reported that in front of the huge advantages brought by quic and HTTP / 3, social media giant Facebook will be committed to the adoption of the new agreement. Facebook engineering team pointed out in a blog post that more than 75% of the company's current Internet traffic is based on the new protocol. However, before the specific implementation, the company's huge infrastructure, mobile app and client applications still need to implement some necessary adjustments before the smooth progress.

尽管这两项协议尚未正式标准化，但在互联网工程任务组（IETF）的努力下，已有越来越多的企业开始使用新技术。

测试期间，Facebook通过自有的Mvfst方案处理了内部流量，在负载均衡等方面有更好的优化。不过在应用程序端，目前主要还是使用的HTTP/3。

博客文章写道：“测试表明，Quic在多项指标上迎来了改进”。具体说来是，请求中的错误更少、等候时间更短、报头响应也更小。

当然，该公司还面临着一些需要修复的bug，其中大多与应用程序的逻辑有关。此外Facebook团队还必须优化其代码，以提升CPU性能、调试并改进网络拥塞状况。

在这些优势面前，Facebook希望尽快将更多功能迁移至Quic上实现， 终达成“真0-RTT连接”的目标。

后，除了让主站客户端和Web版支持Quic和HTTP/3（需搭配适当的Web浏览器），该公司旗下的其它服务也将陆续实施基于Quic的处理方法（比如Instagram、WhatsApp和Messenger）。
